East Dartmoor U3A is a thriving group in Moretonhampstead and is part of The University of the Third AgeTrust; The U3As are democratic, self-funded organisations which provide all types of educational, creative and leisure activities for older people at minimal cost by making use of the knowledge, skills and experience of their members.. Monthly meetings have a variety of interesting speakers. At other times enthusiastic groups meet regularly in members' homes or relevant venues. Visitors and new members are always welcome.

The annual subscription is only £5. A small fee is charged for visitors.
