French Conversation
There are between six and eight of us who meet at fortnightly intervals on Monday mornings at 11.00 at various venues, most frequently at Mary Kibel's house in Moerton. We are led by a charming young French lady from North Bovey; the main benefit is to listen to 'proper' French and to have our efforts corrected in the kindliest manner. We all have a fair knowledge of the language but some of us are more fluent than others!! We usually each prepare a short piece to present and Catherine, our tutor, gives us exercises to brush up on particular constructions. It is all very informal and enjoyable
