Signing Group

No, not a mis-spelling about a new choral outlet or, indeed, learning to use your Highway Code effectively.  In our fun signing sessions we learn signs from British Sign Language (BSL) within the core vocabulary of the Makaton Language Programme.  (This was developed to offer a structural approach for teaching communication skills in children and adults with learning difficulties).

Our sessions involve learning a little about the people who may need this signed language support and how WE can produce and read the signs for basic concepts in everyday life.
