Come and try working with green wood

To teach participants how to work safely with basic wood tools. To work with green wood, an easily accesible and environmentally friendly building material. Activities will be: making a wooden mallet which participants can take home, making wooden pegs such as those used in timber building, learning the skills to make a hurdle, using a draw-horse, using basic tools such as the bowsaw, the froe and the draw kinfe to shape wood.
