Come to our fantastic Moreton Carnival!
Its here! An exciting annual event with lots going on culminating with the fantastic Carnival procession!
Events During Carnival Time
Moretonhampstead Carnival day is on the fourth Thursday in August, which falls on 26th in 2010. The committee organise numerous events leading up to Carnival Day. There is music in the square and dancing the night away, with everything from the jazz to hip hop - there is always something for everyone!
We also have a band on Carnival Day. The Grand Procession starts at 6.30pm and there are usually around 80 entries.
This year promises to be as exciting as ever! All times and events are subject to alteration so see posters around town.
Baby Show in the Parish Hall at 2.30pm on Weds 25th August.
Dancing in the Square on Weds 25th August.

Carnival Day!

Including: Children's Entertainment from 10.00am & much much more!
Grand Procession: 6.30PM!
Live Music and the Carnival Queen Float!
Disco in the courtyard at the White Hart Hotel from 8pm to midnight. Free entry.
