Two main themes featured:

1: The Green Deal. MAGS member Richard Foxwell will give a presentation of the new government's Green Deal. (This was outlined recently by Energy Sec Chris Houhne. One major part is the offers that energy supply companies will be obliged to make to householders.)

 2: Wood (logs) as Fuel - various people  contributing to this. Could be a very useful session. Information includes how much volume of wood is needed to heat a house, local suppliers, seasoning of logs, wood as carbon neutral fuel, relative costs etc.

Finally, it is a fantastically good apple harvest this year!. Can I make a plea for anyone who has plastic bottles to save them for me. We have pressed out 20 gallons of cider apple juice which is currently bubbling away, turning itself into cider, we hope. Please call Liz if you have any spare bottles!
