Moretonhampstead has its own Learning Centre run from the Bowring Library . Courses cover basic computing for the complete beginner and go on to Improvers Computing for those with more knowledge held in the Computer Suite in the library.

There are also many more specialised courses such as PowerPoint and Digital Imaging and a wide range of other interesting subjects including art and craft based courses, health and personal development. Courses are organised by the Moretonhampstead Development Trust and there are a variety of subjects on offer. Open Evenings

We hold regular Open Evenings when you can meet the tutors and find out about our courses. Refreshments provided. If you enrol on the evening you get 5% discount on the fee you would normally pay. Please look out for the next dates!

How about a novel gift for friends or family for their birthday or Christmas present? We offer vouchers from £10 towards our workshops and courses. How about booking an art workshop like water colour, drawing or oil painting or something different like bird watching as a gift? Or you can simply purchase a voucher and let them choose what they'd like to attend. Giving a voucher for a course can help a relative who has wanted to try something, like a computing course, take that step to doing it!
