Fitness and Well-Being courses are based around improving well-being, health and fitness and are offered by qualified therapists and practitioners at various venues. For most courses it is advisable to wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a mat and blanket with you. Please call 01647 440855 for more information.

Feel calm and revitalized at the end of the week ahead with a regular Friday morning yoga session. 10am-11.30am at King George V Sports and Community Centre. Join this friendly mixed ability class suitable for beginners and those with some experience. Each session includes some breathing practice and finishes with a period of deep relaxation.

Simple Massage Techniques with Katheryn Hope
Come and discover the wonderful benefits of a massage practice with a qualified therapist. You will learn some basic massage techniques so you can practice a face and foot massage on friends and family at home and enjoy a lovely relaxing afternoon. We will cover basic uses of essential oils for different conditions and how to use them. Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a blanket, cushion and towel. Oils provided.

Meditation and Relaxation with Katheryn Hope
A wonderfully relaxing day when you learn about the basics of how to meditate, practice some deep relaxations and find out how you can build your own meditation practice at home. What are the things that cause you stress and how can you turn them around so that you become more relaxed and happy no matter what? An enjoyable day.

Learning to Muscle Check with Katheryn Hope
Learn the basics of the practice of muscle-checking to use at home. Muscle checking is a unique and simple way to determine exactly what forces, both external and internal, are stressful of positive for you and is used in the practice of Kinesiology. During the day we'll cover an introduction to muscle checking, its uses and benefits in everyday life and how to perform muscle checking both on yourself and others. You don't have to be physically strong to do the check or be checked. It is a useful tool to find out information about your body i.e. intolerances and allergies, for improved well-being and a good adjunct to other therapies too.
