Statistics

Since the launch of the Moretonhampstead site in mid May 2009 it has a received a steady flow of traffic with almost equal percentages of new and returning users. Around 54% of this traffic is lead to the site by search engines plus another 11% from referring sites where as nearly 35% of hits come from direct traffic. In total the site has had 29,584 visits with 124,851 page views since its opening last year with just under 50% being new visitors. All information is from Google Analytics. Business Directory

If you are within the Moretonhampstead area you may like to add your business to our Business Directory pages. We ask for a small annual fee of £30 for which you will get a basic listing showing details of your business, phone number and email address and a logo. If you would like a link to your own website, a google map plus photographs we ask for an extra £20 per annum. Please contact us via the website contact box for more information or download the advertising rates.

If your business is in Moretonhampstead, Drewsteignton, North Bovey, Dunsford or surrounding villages you may have a business listing. Please complete the Business Listing Application and either send us payment via cheque to Moretonhampstead Development Trust or pay via Paypal on the above link. Then email us your completed application form.

Community Websites

From the home page you will find our community websites. These are mini-websites for local organisations and businesses who would like their own site without having to set one of for themselves. The site can be set up within hours and we offer regular training from the Moretonhampstead Learning Centre to help you do this. At present the training is free and dates are publicised through our adult learning pages. You are able to set up basic pages including a contact sheet and photographs. The cost of having a mini-site is £30 per annum for a charitable organisation and £60 per annum for a small business. Please contact us via the contact sheet for more information.

Moreton Hub Site

This is our latest addition to the main website and is an informal website where you can have an account for free and add your own blog, posts and even have a page. This site is for local people to express their ideas and add events and other information. Take a look at the site and get involved.
