There are many great opportunities to volunteer in Moretonhampstead. The list below are just a few of the organisations in Moretonhampstead that really benefit from volunteer support. Please do contact them if you feel you can be of help. In may cases volunteering includes free training that can improve skills and increase the possibility of employment. Becoming a volunteer looks good on a CV and is highly rewarding. It can be fun to spend time with a team of people helping a local project to flourish.

Groups needing volunteers:

Moretonhampstead Development Trust - if you would like to volunteer to give some administrative or filing support or help with the Learning Centre please contact the Trust on 01647 440855.

Moretonhampstead Association for Youth - MAY are looking for volunteers to join their committee to help support their active youth work and holiday play schemes. Please contact John Willis on 01647 441050.

Moretonhampstead Information Centre - if you have some time to spare and would like to help out in the centre on the desk or in other ways please contact us on 01647 440043.

King George V Sports and Community Centre - again if you have some spare time the centre has a very active volunteer group supporting the centre on the front desk and in other roles. Please contact them on 01647 440107.

Swimming Pool Trust - the Trust needs active volunteers to help with the committee or to staff the pool during opening times. Training can be given. Please contact Judith Newman on 01647 440501 or email her.

News in Moreton - our local community magazine needs voluntary help to distribute the magazine, type it and print it. If you can offer any support please contact Gary on on 0786 506532.

Moretonhampstead Festival - the annual Moretonhampstead Festival is organised entirely by volunteers. If you would like to be a part of the committee please contact Peter Middleton on 01647 441288.
