Update on the Old School Project
ARTISTS STUDIOS AND EXHIBITION SPACE
The Moretonhampstead Development Trust is working on a project to re-develop the currently redundant 'old primary school' building on Greenhill, next to the Parish Church.
We plan to turn it into a 'multi-use' community facility, including artists studios/workshops, an Arts and Heritage Centre with gallery and shop, community and commercial offices and a stand alone youth centre.
The project is entering its final stages, with most of the funding in place. We await the outcome of one final application to the Regional Development Agency. As our last survey of artists was some time ago, we would be very grateful if you could let us know your thoughts on this project. All and any support that we can get at this time would help our case for funding.
Studio space

Our plans for the studio spaces in the old school are based upon the Exeter Castle model, where artists can specify how much space is required. Spaces are then partitioned off accordingly. This means artists only pay for the space they need.
We are asking artists who would like to hire the space, once it is available, to complete a questionnaire so that we know what your individual requirements are and we can contact you when the space is ready.
Please go to the Moretonhampstead Development Trust pages to download and complete the form.
