Plans for Skate Park Rebuild

Plans have been drawn up for a complete rebuild of the Moretonhampstead Skate Park.

The proposed park will occupy the same area as the existing and the new layout has been designed by a group of the Moreton skaters.

The base of the park will be of powerfloated concrete construction which is smooth and fast, and is safer to skate on than the existing tarmac.

The construction has been costed and funding has been applied for. It is planned that the new park will be built next spring and will be open for the summer.
