Dartmoor’s Miniature Pony and Animal Farm has over 150 animals, including our famous miniature ponies and donkeys that foal throughout the spring and early summer. As you explore the 20 acres of beautiful Dartmoor parkland you will meet lots of very friendly pigs, goats, calves, lambs and birds.  There is no better way for the children to be introduced to animals than here.

Enjoy scenic walks along nature trails, discovering and identifying a wealth of plant and animal life. Take time to relax by the tranquil lakes and feed the trout or have a picnic in our beautiful parkland. Set in an idyllic setting in the heart of scenic Dartmoor, there is plenty of beautiful countryside to explore.

There’s country fun for everyone here at the Miniature Pony and Animal Farm. Have a ride on a pony, supervised by one of our helpful staff, or meet lots of friendly animals and feed them at teatime. Sandy Farm is for all you budding farmers, drive the tractors, loaders and trailers, help mix feeds and feed the pigs and goats, bottle feed a lamb and enjoy all the fun of our perfectly scaled down children’s farm.

Adventure

Burn off all that endless energy in the outdoor adventure playarea or inside in the exciting indoor playarea ‘Fort Bovey’. The toddlers have their own exclusive area with a ball pool, castle, sand pit and playarea.

The adjoining Courtyard Café offers morning coffee’s, light lunches, cream teas and rather indulgent cakes and desserts. Whether it’s in the courtyard bathed in Sun during the Summer or by the warm glow of the log burner in the winter.
